CMU alum, Tim Marklevitz tells the story of the Bless You Boys, a successful Michigan independent rock band.  In the summer of 2009, the band organized a small summer tour to keep busy while their agent and manager worked on closing a record deal.  During the tour, the band is humbled by the realization that despite their success in west Michigan, to the rest of the world they are just another bar band.

Carrie LeZotte and Lora Probert from Detroit based One of Us Films will be on hand for the PREVIEW screening of Hunting Blind.   Shot in several Michigan State Parks, this film tells the story of two brothers who go hunting and encounter a trespasser.


REGIONAL ROOTS -
Carrie LeZotte and Lora Probert from Detroit based One of Us Films will be on hand for the
screening of Regional Roots. Covering 300 years of history, this film uses the immigrant
experience as an introduction to the diverse landscape of Detroit.
